Buying the supplies

First of all, congrdulations on deciding that you want to garden! But before you start excersising your green thumb, you need to get some kinz cash! You might want to start out with two thousand (2000KC) kinzcash. Start by going to the W shop, and clicking on the section “Gardening”.
Supplies
- One of each crop (Total cost - $340KC)
- How to grow your own food guidebook (Total cost - $390KC)

Optional

- Country Rail Fence ( Total cost - $1140kc You need 19 Fences. $1530kc in total )
- Moskoka Chair (Total cost - $1780KC)
You can add anything else you like.

Planting for the first time

Okay, so you’ve boughten your supplies. Now, Assuming you already have a spare yard…. go to your yard. Click one of your crops, and drag it onto you lawn onto any space. The crop can be moved. Arrange your crops in patterns or lines. Remember to include decorations! You’ll need to water all of your crops when you put them down. But I bet you’re asking how to water them right? Easy. Just click on the nearest plant. You will walk over to it. A message will appear that says “Do you wish to start gardening?’. Obviously, click “yes”. Now, a small box will appear at the top left corner of Webkinz World. Click on the Water button and just click on each plant to water it. If it had weeds, then rake it.

Daily Gardening

Great! You now have a very stylish yard! (Add me and invite me over.. I want to see everyone’s gardens!) But now it get’s tricky. You need to go on everyday to make sure your crops don’t die. They can, however go for three days, but they will not produce as many foods per crop. Treat gardening as a daily activity! (Maybe thats why they added it to the “Daily Activity page!!) Watch your crops bloom to prefection! (It’s great for the little kids, of four or five.. )

Tips and tricks to do it right

These here are tips that I have discovered, from my experience of gardening on Webkinz. I have not taken them from any other website!
Tips

- Visit everyday to make sure your plant dosen’t get weeds. If it does, you may not get as many foods from that crop when you harvest it.
- When you arrive at your yard, INSPECT every plant, and rake any weed infested crops. This will save you time. Then water them all, and finally INSPECT them again, to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
- Save all of your foods that you harvest, until you have plentyof each. Then, if you don’t have alot of KinzCash, you can sell them, and expand your garden. (I am planning on expanding to have another garden, in a different room.)
- To keep an interest in your garden, draw ( and take ) pictures, write stories and fantisize about your garden! (You can post your stories and pictures on this thread!)
