Wow I never knew for one second I would have to post so many bad things about Ganz, but alas - I’ve got to flag up yet another problem with the Webkinz Trading Cards. Instead of rambling on forever about how Ganz is letting us all down, let me just show you what the newest problem is now:
If you get lucky, or if you ever win the lottery then you might have the chance to buy some of the Webkinz Trading Cards that Ganz have made. Well, one of the big features of Webkinz Trading Cards is the fact that you could get “free Webkinz� to use in Webkinz World. So instead of having the pet itself, you will have a Webkinz trading card and a virtual pet. Seems like a great idea, doesn’t it??
Well, what happens if you get a nice little monkey or golden retriever in your Webkinz Trading Cards pack and you have the chance to register them on Webkinz World?? Well, you go and register them at Webkinz World hopefully to get two more cute little Webkinz to play with.
The problem now is that tons of people have been buying the Webkinz Trading Cards, getting a Webkinz and are registering that Webkinz in Webkinz World. Then, instead of getting a cute little monkey or golden retriever or whatever they got… they get a measily frog!! It’s so bad that I haven’t actually heard of anyone who’s got anything BUT a frog, from “getting lucky� in a Webkinz Trading Cards pack.
Now it may not “seem like much� but if you consider that Ganz have put these Webkinz Trading Cards out to their fans with the intent of taking their money, and now are discovering that there is a major problem with the way they work on Webkinz World - you’ve really got to ask… “Did they even do any testing??�or even… “Do they even care?�
It seems to me to like Ganz are trying to do too much and it looks like some of it’s actually backfiring on them. Look at the major Webkinz shortage across the country - that could easily have been avoided if they didn’t want to introduce the Clydesdale Webkinz round about now. I’d rather buy the “old� Webkinz than buy none at all!!
You’ve also got to look at the fact that the Webkinz Trading Cards are almost no where to be seen! It’s as if they are not being produced or something they are that scarce! Not only that, but the lucky ones who actually get Webkinz Trading cards might win a free virtual Webkinz. When they adopt their new pet, they simply get a Frog!! What a bummer that is for anyone who’s a loyal Webkinz lover, like me!
Sheesh… I think we need to start a petition or something and send it to Ganz. Can’t it see that we are starving out here!?
